*2 week bonus edition*

The goal last week was set up user analytics and ship the first round of provider profile optimization tips, which we did. The goal this week was to wrap up the Stripe integration, which we finished.

Work

We have been experimenting with different social and Google ads, getting a feel for what works best. Specific targeting by age, gender, and location. Preliminary data seems to indicate that we tend to receive more clicks (for less cost) on social, but much better conversion (for a higher price) from Google. Makes sense when you think about how each audience is targeted.

Dashboard analytics are set up but still a work in progress.

The team was finally able to meet up in person this week for the first time in probably 6 weeks. It’s so much easier than virtual for things like strategy discussions, and user flow review.

The feedback that we’re getting back from providers has been super productive, but our dev pipeline seems to be growing out of control. Thinking about how to expand our dev capacity and move quicker.

Other Stuff

Read : 1 Kings 3 when Solomon asks for wisdom instead of riches

Watched : The Great Hack highlighting how Cambridge Analytica and Facebook used data to manipulate the 2016 presidential election. Yikes

Listened : Tim Ferriss Show episode with Brandon Stanton (Humans of NY) was highly entertaining and full of inspiration to work on your purpose

Learned : it’s so true that entrepreneurship is a roller coaster of highs and lows

Mental Check : overwhelmed

Tool I’m Loving : Google Forms. We’ve been using them as a tool to disseminate information, as well as gather feedback from users. It’s just too easy to use, design, and share. Highly underrated free tool in my opinion.

Out + About : over Memorial Day our little family took a road trip to South Dakota to visit Mt. Rushmore. Dart was thrilled with the 7 hour drive.

Therapeasy is an online platform designed to help people get quickly connected to the right mental health provider.
