The goal this week was to successfully product launch on Friday. Check. We’re live!

Work

We nailed down the privacy policy, terms + conditions, and provider agreement earlier this week and pushed to the site. Pretty mind numbing work, but super important.

Did some domain work to set up beta.therapeasy.co which allowed our early adopters to log in early before the official launch to get their profiles set up. I wish we could have opened it up earlier, but it just wasn’t possible. Friday morning was a bit hairy getting therapeasy.co switched over from our temporary to the new site, but we figured it out and it went relatively smooth.

Thursday and Friday were mostly spent on-boarding providers, customer service, and fixing bugs.

We were also able to put a nail in our provisional patent and it’s ready to file. Unfortunately USPTO makes it as difficult as humanly possible to do it. It’ll get shipped in the next week or so.

We have a few exciting things in the works for next week. I’m excited and honored to announce that Ben Miller will be our special guest at our launch party next week. Don’t miss it.

Other Stuff

Read : psychotherapy article about moral distress coming out of COVID19

Watched : just in case you missed it, Therapeasy made the local news

Listened : My buddy Billy just launched the Life Project Podcast, looking forward to many more episodes!

Learned : way too much about patent applications, and the absurdity around how to file them

Mental Check : firing on all cylinders right now

Tool I’m Loving : I tried my best to find a free way to link Gmail to Sheets. I thought IFTTT might work, played around a bit without complete success. Zapier would probably work great, but their free tier is too small for what I’m looking for. Anyone know of anything else?

Out + About : the wifey and I took the pooch for a hike through Ken Caryl Valley and let me tell you, he’s the worst hiking partner ever. I must have carried him at least half way. But it was REAL good to get out of the house for a bit.

Dart was meant for the great indoors

Therapeasy is an online platform designed to help people get quickly connected to the right mental health provider.
