Week in review w/ Therapeasy HQ
April 20–24, 2020
The goal this week remained unchanged, I’m still focusing on preparing for launch day. It’s the final push, just one more week left to go!
Work
I feel like a lot has happened this week. Let’s see…
We got the details ironed out for our virtual launch party, which is happening on May 7, get more info here. We’ll have some giveaways, have some fun, and announce our special guest speaker soon!
Worked a bit more on our provisional patent application…it’s about ready to submit.
Christine was able to tap into a couple of lawyer friends who really helped us out with super fun stuff like terms + conditions, privacy policy, and provider agreement. It always amazes me how helpful people will be. I feel like we need to send them a Therapeasy t-shirt. Note to self…design Therapeasy t-shirts.
Prioritizing our final dev work. Limited amount of time left before launch is making things difficult.
Sent out our launch press release this week and so far…only 1 bite. We’ll keep pushing it though. Click here for the full article.
Last but not least, just today we had a really great call with a potential partner who we’d very much like to work with. The purpose is always to be mutually beneficial to each other, and we’re definitely going to keep this conversation moving. More to come.
Other Stuff
Read : still working my way through Made to Stick, learning how to use emotions to your advantage when presenting an idea.
Watched : I’m almost through Mad Men, which will be the second(ish) time I’ve watched it. I don’t think I actually ever finished the final two seasons the first time around.
Listened : I’m finding the conversation with Steve Jurvetson on the Tim Ferriss Show to be absolutely fascinating
Learned : this article gave us all sorts of tips to follow up after a press release
Mental Check : mind is active
Tool I’m Loving : I’ve tried so many productivity apps, but I’ve finally settled on Google Tasks. The reason why I like it so much is how it seamlessly integrates with my Google calendar, and that I can use it both desktop and mobile. It’s really been helping me keep on track.
Out + About : the wifey and I have been attending our second Love Reality Tour (this one is virtual) every night this week. The first one changed my life. This second one is confirming it.
