Mar 30–Apr 3, 2020

The goal this week remained unchanged, I’m still focusing on preparing for launch day, May 1, 2020. This means tightening up the product, as well as generating provider interest in signing up.

Work

Launch day is less than a month away, and honestly I’m starting to feel the pressure. Let’s just call it anxiety.

I wanted to do something special on Instagram, a countdown to launch day, something to catch people’s attention and keep us top of mind. I came up with the following campaign. 30 days, 30 IG stories, 30 reasons why providers should sign up for our free trial.

I also wanted to re-design our website (it’s temporary at this point) for the next few weeks to be more of a landing page with a clear call to action. This way we can best capture interest, and hopefully convert once we launch. It should also be crystal clear to visitors when we will go live. It’s not published quite yet, but should be up by Monday.

I’ve also started to document our internal process flow for handling each type of member, both patients and providers. We will need this structure by next month. I’m hoping to incorporate the flow into our CRM (Hubspot) as much as possible.

Other Stuff

Read : I’m still making my way through You Are a Badass and was quite surprised to see the author claim that a relationship with God is the number one contributor to living an awesome life. Of course it wasn’t quite put as simply as that, but still, I completely agree.

Watched : because I am obsessed with content that documents people’s entrepreneurial journey, I’ve been pouring over TheEntrepreneurVlog on YouTube. Most of it is pretty cheesy, but I was inspired by this episode to step up my LinkedIn game next week.

Listened : I somehow only listened to Get Your Heart On! by Simple Plan for the first time ever this week. It honestly wasn’t half bad.

Learned : Hubspot Academy continues to be super helpful, and one of the things I learned this week was how to connect your social ads to the CRM, which provides more analytics, therefore more follow up leverage, than what is provided by Facebook, or Instagram. I will be doing a bit more research next week on setting up Instagram ads.

Mental Check : anxious

Tool I’m Loving : I discovered unDraw, and wow. I totally used their illustrations for the IG campaign above.

Out + About : I’m fine. Really.

Therapeasy is an online platform designed to help people get quickly connected to the right mental health provider.
